Establishing A Program

Some Basic Program Formats

The After School Program

Classes are given after normal school hours and on weekends. Students can join at any time and continue with the programs as long as they wish. Students progress and pass flight tests at their own speed.

Group Lessons

Any organization can take flying lessons as a group. Any available hour can be designated as class time. Participants will all go through the basic Sim Syllabus.

Special Educational Seminars

“How to fly a warbird” or “Fly a DC-3” might be a fun and profitable adventures to take on the flight simulator. Experienced and knowledable veteran pilots could give any numbers of seminars, using the simulators to demonstrate.

A Practice Facility

Real pilots and student pilots practice their skills, safely and inexpensively, at the “batting cages” for pilots. Instructors could bring students to the facility to make ground school interesting and alive.

A School Program

The Flight Sim Pilot Program works very well in a school curriculum, provided that there is a good cooperation between the sim training and the academic portions of the course. The course takes approximately one school year for most students.
